GENI (www.geni.net) is a virtual laboratory for networking and distributed systems research and education. Used by over 10,000 researchers and educators, GENI is well suited for exploring networks at scale, thereby promoting innovations in network science, security, services, and applications.

A GENI Regional Workshop (GRW) will be held at the University of Oregon on November 3-4, 2017. In serving both the general audience and members in the computer networking field, this GRW will feature talks by leading figures in the field on cutting-edge topics such as software-defined networking (SDN), edge computing, and network security, followed by lectures and hands-on tutorials for audience at both the introductory and advanced levels.

The registration of the workshop is free.  However, registration at the

Hotels

We have reserved a block of rooms at both Best Western New Oregon 
(1655 Franklin Blvd, Eugene, OR 97403) and Phoenix Inn Suites 
(850 Franklin Blvd, Eugene, OR 97403).  The cut-off date for hotel 
reservation is ***October 9***.  So reserve your hotel ASAP before 
no room is available.

Travel Grant is Available!

Travel grants are available if you travel from outside of Eugene, Oregon.
Every attendant can apply in the process of registering for the conference.
Do apply early as travel grant funds are limited; applications received 
before ***October 2*** will be given greater consideration.
